Nyxora
Privacy Policy
How Nyxora handles information you provide when you use the app.
1. Who we are
Nyxora (“we”, “us”) is an iOS astrology and tarot application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Nyxora, we may process:
- Account information — email address and authentication identifiers when you sign in with email/password, Google, or Sign in with Apple.
- Birth and chart data — names, birth date, birth time (if provided), birth place, and related chart settings you save so the app can compute natal charts and readings. We use this only to provide those features — not for advertising.
- App activity — saved charts, tarot practice progress, preferences (such as language), and similar in-app content you create.
- Feedback — messages you submit through the in-app Feedback screen, plus technical context we attach (app version, build, language, and your account id).
- Subscription status — whether a subscription is active, plan type, and expiry metadata associated with your account for sync across devices. Payment card details are handled by Apple, not by us.
- Device / diagnostics — limited technical data needed to run authentication, cloud sync, and crash-free operation (for example platform and app version).
3. How we use information
- To create and maintain your account.
- To provide natal charts, daily sky, transits, synastry, numerology, tarot, and related features.
- To sync your data across devices when you are signed in.
- To process and respond to feedback you send.
- To reflect subscription entitlement associated with your Nyxora account.
- To operate, secure, and improve the app.
Nyxora readings are for entertainment and reflection. They are not medical, legal, financial, or professional advice.
We do not use your information for advertising, do not sell it, and do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. The app does not show a tracking prompt because we do not track in that sense.
4. Where information is stored
- On your device — local charts, preferences, caches, and widget-related data (including an App Group shared with the Nyxora widget when enabled).
- In the cloud — when Firebase is configured and you are signed in, account-linked data may be stored with Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore), including charts, practice progress, subscription metadata, and feedback.
- Apple — purchases and restore are processed by Apple through the App Store / StoreKit. We do not receive your full payment card number.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the service:
- Google Firebase (authentication and database hosting).
- Google Sign-In, if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store billing, device platform services). If you use Hide My Email, we receive Apple’s relay address, not your personal inbox.
- When required by law or to protect the app and users.
6. Retention
We keep account and synced data while your account remains active. If you delete your account in Settings, we delete the Firebase Auth user and associated cloud user data we control, and clear local app data on that device. Feedback already submitted may remain for a limited time so we can review support issues, then be deleted or anonymized. Backups may persist for a short period after deletion.
7. Your choices
- Update or delete charts and related content in the app.
- Sign out to stop cloud sync on that device.
- Delete your account in Settings (permanent).
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Ask us to access, correct, or delete your data: email support@nyxora.uk.
8. Children
Nyxora is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. International users
If you use Nyxora from outside the country where our processors operate, your information may be processed in other regions (including where Google Firebase and Apple operate). By using the app, you understand that transfer.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Effective date” above will change when we do. Continued use of Nyxora after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
11. Contact
